Speaking to the media on Monday, Deora emphasised the public’s need for direct representation and urged the Election Commission to expedite the electoral process.  “We all want the local body elections to be conducted as soon as possible,” Deora said. “This is because we want someone who can represent us. The Election Commission will decide upon this, and we want them to make the decision soon.”  Reaffirming Shiv Sena’s preparedness, Deora stated that the party is fully geared up for the upcoming polls. “Our party is ready to contest the polls, and we are all prepared under the leadership of Eknath Shinde,” he added, signaling a show of unity and confidence in the current political leadership.
