He highlighted the nation's aspirations as it prepares to host the Olympics in 2036, stating, "At present, the country is changing under the leadership of PM Modi; the country is moving forward, a new India is being built."
Mandaviya shared PM Modi's ambitious targets for India's sports development, indicating that the goal is for the country to rank among the top 10 in sports within the next 10 years. He further articulated a vision for India to be among the top 5 sports nations when the country celebrates 100 years of Independence.
