Delhi: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Saturday intensified his attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) following Rohini Acharya’s decision to quit politics and publicly distance herself from her family. Acharya, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, had claimed she faced mistreatment at home, including being “thrown out” and allegedly beaten when she questioned internal matters.
Tiwari said Acharya’s revelations exposed deeper issues within the RJD’s leadership and raised concerns about the party’s governance record. “It is definitely visible that those who were dreaming of running the entire Bihar, could not even run their own families,” he remarked, adding that the episode raised fundamental questions about the environment within the Yadav household.
Referring to Acharya’s allegations, he said, “Rohini Acharya said that being thrown out of the house for asking questions, being beaten up, somewhere reflects the mentality for which the entire regime was known for jungle raj.”
