New Delhi: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remark referring to the Delhi government as “Aapda Sarkar,” accusing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of obstructing critical welfare initiatives.
Speaking to the media, Tiwari said, “Arvind Kejriwal should remember that they stopped the ‘Ayushman Yojana,’ halted the registration of houses for the poor in government-authorized colonies, and discontinued pension and ration card schemes. What PM Modi said, it must have pricked them (AAP).”
The Prime Minister’s comment has sparked a political war of words, with the BJP amplifying its criticism of the AAP government’s policies. Tiwari also highlighted solutions provided by BJP MPs to address pressing issues in Delhi and other regions.
“Whatever solutions we MPs have given to Manohar Lal Khattar and Nitin Gadkari, PM Modi has accepted them, and we will carry them out,” he added, emphasizing the BJP’s focus on practical solutions to governance challenges.
