Delhi: Speaking outside the Delhi Assembly, AAP leader Manish Sisodia reflected on the hurdles faced by the AAP government during its tenure. He accused the BJP of fomenting unrest in the capital and targeting AAP leaders with fabricated legal cases.

“This tenure was challenging. BJP had thrown the entire Delhi into riots. Then the COVID pandemic came, and after that, we were put into jail by the BJP in false cases,” Sisodia alleged.

Despite these challenges, Sisodia expressed optimism about AAP's resilience and ability to overcome adversity. “It was a challenging five years. However, I am happy that we came out of that. The people are now witnessing everything,” he stated.

Sisodia’s remarks come amid increasing political tensions between AAP and BJP, with both parties trading accusations over governance and public accountability in Delhi. The AAP leader’s comments underline his party's narrative of being a victim of political vendetta, while asserting its commitment to serving the people despite the odds.
