Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured farmers in flood-affected Marathwada that the state government is committed to providing prompt relief and compensation.
Shinde said he is in regular contact with district officials and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams deployed for rescue operations. “Farmers have suffered significant losses. Helping them is the responsibility of our government. Our Chief Minister and all ministers will personally assess the situation. People should receive immediate assistance,” he added.
