In response to the collapse of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue in Malvan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced the formation of two committees to address the situation. One committee will be tasked with investigating the incident and taking appropriate actions, while the other will focus on the prompt reconstruction of the statue.
Speaking about the steps being taken, CM Shinde emphasized that the government is working on a war footing to ensure that a grand statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is rebuilt at the earliest. He urged all parties to move beyond political differences and cooperate in this effort, stressing that collective action is essential for a swift resolution. The CM’s statement underscores the administration’s commitment to both resolving the issue and honoring the legacy of the Maratha warrior king.
