New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday reiterated his party’s commitment to the rights of marginalized groups, a day after launching the ‘Ati Pichhda Nyay Sankalp’. Addressing supporters, Gandhi said that no matter how many “lies and distractions” the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may attempt, the Mahagathbandhan will continue to stand firm on its promise of social justice.
“The Mahagathbandhan is determined to ensure full rights for the extremely backward, Dalit, tribal, minority, and backward communities,” Gandhi said. He emphasized that the alliance’s agenda places justice and equal opportunity at the forefront, particularly for communities that have historically faced discrimination and limited access to resources.
The ‘Ati Pichhda Nyay Sankalp’ initiative, launched earlier this week, seeks to highlight issues of representation, education, employment, and welfare among backward and marginalized sections. Party leaders said the campaign aims to build momentum around inclusive policies ahead of upcoming elections.
