Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday hit back at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his remarks demanding a ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), saying the opposition party has repeatedly failed to understand the people’s trust in the organisation.
“The Congress has tried everything, but people have seen the RSS’s patriotic work style and Congress’s misdeeds. That is why they face defeat every time but never learn their lesson,” Yadav said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Kharge had earlier criticised the Modi government for lifting the decades-old ban on government employees participating in RSS activities, demanding that the decision be reversed and recalling that the organisation had once been banned by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
