Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed satisfaction with a significant decision made by the state’s cabinet sub-committee aimed at enhancing the cleanliness of Maa Narmada. During a recent address, Yadav highlighted the government's coordinated plan to ensure that the river remains pristine and that all pilgrimage sites and ghats are better managed.
“We are pleased to announce that our cabinet sub-committee has taken a major decision to safeguard the cleanliness of Maa Narmada’s water,” Yadav stated. “We have developed a comprehensive plan to improve the management of pilgrimage sites and ghats to maintain the river's purity.” This initiative reflects the government's commitment to preserving the sacredness and environmental integrity of Maa Narmada.
In addition to the water cleanliness plan, Yadav revealed intentions to regulate activities in religious towns. He announced efforts to ban the sale of meat and liquor in these areas as part of a broader strategy to uphold the sanctity of religious sites. “We will strive to ban meat and liquor shops in religious towns,” Yadav said, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the spiritual environment of these regions.
