Simhastha, one of the four major Kumbh Melas, is held in Ujjain every 12 years and is a significant spiritual gathering for millions of devotees. The Madhya Pradesh government is reportedly investing in large-scale infrastructure projects, including enhanced pilgrim facilities, improved transportation, and the development of religious tourism in Ujjain.
With a growing focus on religious and cultural heritage, Yadav’s government is set to introduce policies that strengthen Ujjain’s status as a sacred destination. “Our goal is to provide a seamless experience for devotees and ensure that Ujjain becomes a global center of spirituality,” he added.
