Madhya Pradesh Awards ₹7,000 Crore Development Projects Under ‘Swachh Madhya Pradesh’ Initiative

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday announced that urban bodies across Madhya Pradesh have been awarded development works worth ₹7,000 crore under the state’s ‘Swachh Madhya Pradesh’ initiative. The announcement was made during the state-level Swachhta Samman Samaroh-cum-Workshop held in Bhopal.

Speaking at the event, CM Yadav said, “The resolve of ‘Swachh Madhya Pradesh’ is being realized! On this occasion, officials, public representatives, and ‘Swachhta Mitras’ who are making Madhya Pradesh a leader in cleanliness were also honored. I am pleased that an atmosphere of competition regarding cleanliness has been created among municipal corporations, urban bodies, and districts in the state.”

The programme recognized individuals and teams that have contributed significantly to improving sanitation and promoting public awareness about cleanliness. The distribution of development projects is aimed at strengthening urban infrastructure and sustaining cleanliness initiatives, ensuring that municipal bodies have the resources needed to maintain hygiene standards.
