LG Manoj Sinha Urges Pilgrims to Join Amarnath Yatra, Assures Robust Security

J&K LG Manoj Sinha says all Amarnath Yatra tickets will be booked in 10–12 days, assuring tight security and efforts to build confidence among pilgrims.

Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir, June 14 — Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed optimism and preparedness ahead of the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra, urging pilgrims from across the country to participate in the sacred journey. With the pilgrimage set to begin soon, LG Sinha revealed that ticket bookings are surging and likely to be fully reserved within the next 10–12 days.

“In the next 10–12 days, all tickets are expected to be booked,” Sinha stated while addressing the press in Anantnag. “The Government of India is making every possible effort through parliamentary delegations and committees to create an atmosphere of courage and confidence.”

Highlighting the importance of security in the region, LG Sinha assured that all necessary arrangements and checks have been put in place to ensure the safety of pilgrims. “Security arrangements are being meticulously monitored. I appeal to people to come and be a part of the Amarnath Yatra,” he added.
