KATHUA, JUNE 9 — Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha laid the foundation stone of Dhunseri Polyfilm Ltd’s new industrial unit at Dohlian Jattan village in Kathua district, marking a significant step toward economic growth in the region. During the ceremony, LG Sinha also disclosed details of a major covert military operation—Operation Sindoor—carried out earlier in May under the directive of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking at the event, Sinha said, “On the night of May 6th and 7th, under PM Modi’s orders, our armed forces launched Operation Sindoor with a clear mission: to neutralize nine terrorist hideouts. The precision operation was meticulously planned to avoid any civilian casualties or harm to military establishments.”
He further revealed that in response, Pakistan attempted to provoke unrest by targeting civilian areas in regions such as Poonch, Uri, and Rajouri. “Our armed forces responded with strength and precision, sending a strong message. Within just three days, Pakistan surrendered. They were reminded that there is nothing in their arsenal that our forces cannot counter,” he stated.
