Kolkata, West Bengal: Ahead of the vote counting tomorrow, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Kunal Ghosh voiced strong support for the formation of anti-BJP governments in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, citing public discontent with the ruling party.
Speaking to the media, Ghosh remarked, "The mood of the public is clearly anti-BJP. An anti-BJP government should be formed in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. After the results of the Maharashtra elections, it will become evident whether the outcomes reflect the public sentiment or if they are influenced by the BJP's machinery."
As the bypoll results in West Bengal approach, Ghosh expressed confidence in the TMC's performance, asserting that the party would win all six contested seats. "We will win all the six seats in West Bengal bypolls," he added, emphasizing the party’s strong position in the state.
The TMC leader’s comments highlight the ongoing political tension surrounding the upcoming results, with eyes set on both the bypolls in West Bengal and the elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. With Ghosh’s statements, the political landscape remains charged as parties prepare for what could be a significant shift in regional politics.
