Kharge
By A Staff Reporter
New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday launched a sharp attack on the BJP, alleging that the government is undermining democratic institutions through legislative manoeuvres. He described a bill proposing the removal of the prime minister, chief ministers, and ministers placed under arrest for 30 consecutive days on serious charges as a “Legislative Trojan Horse.”
Kharge claimed the ruling party has been strategically chipping away at the integrity of elections while presenting laws under the guise of reform. “The real endgame may lie in this Trojan Horse of a bill,” he said, warning that its provisions could be used selectively against political opponents.
