Surendran described the visit as "very promising, hopeful, and fruitful," noting that PM Modi met with victims and assessed the damage firsthand. He also participated in a meeting with the state government, where he assured that the central and state governments would collaborate on reconstruction efforts. Surendran emphasized that PM Modi promised that "funds won't be an issue" in ensuring a thorough recovery for the region.
