New Delhi | Addressing a public rally in the Ghona Assembly Constituency of North-east Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal underscored his government's achievements, particularly the provision of free electricity, while confidently dismissing criticisms from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
"Everyone is getting zero electricity bill. I am an engineer; that is why electricity is available to you 24/7, and I am the son of a baniya, which is why it is available for free," Kejriwal said, drawing applause from the crowd.

Kejriwal also responded to skepticism over how his government manages to fund its welfare initiatives. "BJP asks me where I will manage the funds for all my announcements, to which I say, I am a magician," he quipped, asserting his administration's ability to balance finances while delivering benefits to the people.
The Chief Minister reiterated AAP’s focus on efficient governance and resource management as the foundation for providing essential services at no cost. His remarks were aimed at bolstering public support ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, where AAP faces stiff competition from BJP.
Kejriwal’s “magician” analogy served as a direct rebuttal to critics who question the sustainability of his government’s welfare measures. The rally witnessed strong participation, with supporters chanting slogans endorsing AAP’s policies.
