"We sent panel names to AICC, and our president, Mallikarjun Kharge, has decided to field Yasir Pathan," Siddaramaiah stated. He emphasized that the panel included a diverse range of candidates, both Muslim and non-Muslim, to ensure broad representation. "We also sent other names including Muslim and non-Muslim as well... they have chosen a Pathan," he added, highlighting the party's commitment to inclusivity.

Turning to the upcoming elections, Siddaramaiah also addressed the candidature of Nikhil Kumaraswamy from Channapattana, asserting that his party's candidate, Yogeeshwar, is set for a decisive victory. "It was known. It doesn't matter who is the BJP or JDS candidate; our candidate is Yogeeshwar, and he will win 100% for sure," he declared, expressing confidence in Yogeeshwar's ability to secure the seat against any opponent.
