BENGALURU, JUNE 9 — Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra has launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led state government, accusing it of indulging in appeasement politics and failing to act against anti-national elements and organisations behind alleged attacks on Hindu activists.

Addressing the media, Vijayendra said, “Hindu karyakartas have been consistently attacked here in the state ever since Congress has come to power... Due to the appeasement politics of the Siddaramaiah government, no action has been taken so far against any organisation or anti-national elements.”

He cited the recent killing of BJP worker Suhas Shetty as a glaring example of alleged government inaction and political bias. “In the Suhas Shetty murder case, the Home Minister was forced to cancel his visit to Shetty's house. This Siddaramaiah government is anti-Hindu,” he asserted.

Vijayendra also revealed that BJP workers had met with the Governor to demand a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the murder. “The state government did not accept our demand, but fortunately, the Centre agreed to it,” he added.
