Kanda, Bagsiad (Himachal Pradesh): BJP MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, on Sunday visited the Thunag area of Himachal Pradesh, which has been severely impacted by flash floods and a recent cloudburst. During her visit, Ranaut surveyed the damage, interacted with local residents, and assured them that the government is taking prompt steps to manage the crisis.

“Following the cloudburst, there is a flood-like situation here. Road connectivity is severely affected in the Thunag area and the nearby areas,” she told reporters on the ground. Ranaut noted that relief teams have been deployed and that restoration work is ongoing to reconnect isolated regions.

“Our government and administration are closely monitoring the situation, and relief efforts are underway. Road connectivity is being restored. Our teams are present in every affected area,” she said, highlighting the coordinated efforts of district authorities and disaster response units.
