Dr. Anurag Mandal, a junior doctor involved in the recent delegation that met with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, has called for live streaming of the meeting to ensure transparency. Speaking in Howrah, Mandal expressed concerns over potential editing of recorded footage and insisted that the meeting be broadcasted live.
“We just want that our meeting should be in front of everyone. We don’t want the recording because the recording can be edited. Everyone can see the live streaming,” Mandal stated. His remarks underscore the delegation’s demand for transparency in their discussions with the Chief Minister.
Mandal and his colleagues are advocating for a live broadcast to maintain an unaltered record of their interactions. This call for live streaming reflects their commitment to ensuring that the public and relevant authorities have access to the full and unedited content of their meeting.
“Our only motive is that everything should be in front of everyone… We’ve full faith that it (meeting) can happen. We want live streaming. Our protest will continue till we get justice,” Mandal added. The junior doctors’ protest highlights ongoing tensions and demands for fair treatment and resolution of their issues.
The call for live streaming is a strategic move to bolster their position and ensure that their concerns are addressed in a transparent manner. The delegation’s continued protest indicates their determination to achieve justice and maintain public visibility of their plight.
