At a significant event in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, Union Health Minister JP Nadda inaugurated a state-of-the-art super-speciality block at the Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital. This new addition is set to elevate the hospital's capacity and quality of care, with an increase in total beds to 1,205.
Minister Nadda highlighted that the new block will cater to a range of advanced medical services, including cardiology, vascular surgery, nephrology, neurology, and neurosurgery. This development aims to reduce the need for patients to travel to larger cities like Patna or Delhi for specialized treatment.
In addition to Muzaffarpur, similar super-speciality facilities are being extended to Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Patna, further enhancing healthcare accessibility across the state. Nadda emphasized that this expansion reflects the government's commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and providing world-class medical services within Bihar.
The inauguration marks a significant milestone in regional healthcare development, promising better medical facilities and reduced travel for specialized treatment for patients across Bihar.
