Kolkata, West Bengal: Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda, while attending an interaction session with eminent personalities from various fields, emphasized BJP’s recent electoral victories and condemned the opposition for engaging in divisive tactics. Speaking at the event, Nadda stated, "Two days ago, we won the Haryana elections. Lies were being spread, efforts were made to divide society, and appeasement and votebank politics were in full swing."
He went on to accuse the opposition of attempting to stir unrest among farmers and create division within the country. "Farmers were being instigated, but the people of Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir gave a befitting reply to this," Nadda said, pointing to the strong support BJP received despite these challenges.
Highlighting BJP’s strong performance in Jammu & Kashmir, Nadda further criticized the Congress party for aligning with groups favoring closer ties with Pakistan. "On one side, there is a power trying to divide the country based on castes... Congress allied with the party which wants trade with Pakistan," he remarked, drawing attention to Congress’s controversial political alliances.
Nadda’s statements come in the backdrop of BJP’s continued efforts to consolidate its presence across the nation, as well as the party’s sharp criticism of what it views as opportunistic politics by the opposition
