JP Nadda and CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Inaugurate Library, Approve New Proposals for Tezpur Mental Health Institute

Sonitpur, Assam – Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda, along with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, inaugurated a state-of-the-art library and informatics center at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Mental Health Institute (LGBRMHI) in Tezpur on Monday.

Speaking at the event, JP Nadda highlighted the central government's commitment to mental health advancements. "We have agreed to all the proposals presented in the Board of Governors (BoG) meeting for the progress of this institute. These proposals will soon be implemented to ensure the institute achieves its full potential," he said.

The library and informatics center aim to facilitate advanced research and learning opportunities for professionals in the mental health field, contributing to the institute's reputation as a center of excellence.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the efforts, stating, "This marks a significant step towards enhancing mental healthcare infrastructure in Assam and beyond. The government's commitment to developing such facilities underscores our dedication to holistic healthcare."
