NEW DELHI – Union Minister and BJP national president JP Nadda launched a sharp attack on Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of creating tensions between Haryana and Delhi over water supply issues and failing to deliver on his promise of cleaning the Yamuna River.

"Arvind Kejriwal said that poison is being mixed in the water from Haryana... He is working to make one state fight with another. Is this anti-national work or not?" Nadda questioned, addressing a gathering.

He urged voters to hold AAP accountable in the upcoming elections, calling February 5 the day to politically "retire" those who, he claimed, create fear among people and divide states.

Nadda also reiterated BJP’s allegations of corruption in the Delhi government’s handling of Yamuna’s cleaning. "Arvind Kejriwal had earlier said he would clean the Yamuna, but he committed a scam of ₹8,000 crore in its cleaning. Even today, foam is visible in the Yamuna water," he alleged.
