Ranchi, Jharkhand: JMM MP Mahua Maji spoke out against the BJP's tenure in Jharkhand, stating, "BJP had many Chief Ministers in Jharkhand, and they were in power for 17-18 years. Most of the demographic shift in the state happened during their rule." She expressed frustration over the lack of action taken by BJP leaders to address these issues during their time in power.
She also pointed to the issue of infiltration, emphasizing that border security is a central responsibility. "It is the BSF's duty, and hence the central government's duty to prevent infiltration from the borders," she added, suggesting that BJP's leadership failed in these critical areas of governance.
