Ranchi, Jharkhand: With exit polls creating a buzz in the political landscape, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Manoj Pandey voiced confidence in his party’s performance, predicting a decisive victory. Speaking to reporters, Pandey dismissed the significance of exit polls, asserting that the actual election results would deliver a surprise.

"Exit polls are just exit polls, and we have seen in the past how they can be misleading. The actual results will shock everyone. We are confident of winning more than 55 seats," said Pandey.

He attributed the anticipated success to the strong connection his party has with the electorate. "Look at the excitement of the people. The increase in voting percentage clearly indicates that the public is with us. While the BJP struggled to find a relevant issue to campaign on, we focused on the real concerns of the people," he added.

As the counting day approaches, the political environment in Jharkhand remains charged, with the JMM banking on its grassroots efforts and public support to secure a significant victory. Pandey’s remarks reflect the party's optimism in outperforming the projections made by exit polls.

The final results, set to be announced soon, will determine whether the JMM's confidence translates into a mandate from the people of Jharkhand.
