Ayodhya: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, during his visit to Ayodhya, performed a ceremonial puja at the renowned Hanumangarhi temple on Sunday. Speaking to reporters, Sinha lauded the preparations for the upcoming Maha Kumbh, calling it a global celebration of faith.
Sinha shared that two ministers from the Uttar Pradesh government had recently visited Jammu to extend invitations for the event. “This is the Maha Kumbh of faith. The Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh have together tried to provide divinity and grandeur to the event,” he remarked.
Highlighting the significance of the Maha Kumbh, Sinha emphasized its global appeal, stating, “People will come from all over the world to participate in this spiritual gathering.” He also underscored the economic benefits the event would bring, adding, “This will strengthen the economy of Prayagraj and the surrounding areas.”
The Maha Kumbh, scheduled to be held in Prayagraj in 2025, is expected to witness a record turnout of pilgrims, with extensive arrangements being made to ensure a seamless experience for visitors.
