Bokaro, Jharkhand – In a pointed address to the public, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren voiced his determination to lead his party to re-election, asserting that his administration has delivered development-focused governance for the people of Jharkhand. Speaking in Bokaro, Soren affirmed his commitment to public welfare and accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to derail this progress by sowing communal discord in the state.
“We will form the government in Jharkhand again as we have for the development of the public,” Soren declared. He alleged that BJP leaders from various states, including Assam, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, have been actively campaigning in Jharkhand to “fool people” and disrupt social harmony. According to Soren, these leaders aim to divide the society along religious lines, particularly between Hindus and Muslims, which he describes as the BJP's "USP and strength."
Soren’s statements highlight a deep-seated political rivalry, with the Chief Minister emphasizing that his administration's agenda stands in contrast to what he describes as BJP’s “divisive politics.” He expressed concern over the attempts to provoke communal tension, suggesting that such strategies are designed to distract voters from core developmental issues.
This call to maintain unity and reject divisive tactics is central to Soren's appeal to voters. “Our aim is to bring growth and prosperity to every corner of Jharkhand without letting anyone disrupt the social fabric of our state,” he asserted, rallying the public to focus on the government’s development initiatives.
As Jharkhand heads toward the election season, Soren’s emphasis on development and communal harmony presents a stark contrast to his criticisms of BJP’s approach, positioning his party as a unifying force focused on progress for all sections of society.
