Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has revealed new measures to support families of martyred Agniveers and assist economically disadvantaged residents. The government will provide compensation to the families of Agniveers who lost their lives, aligning with the standards set by the Jharkhand Police. Additionally, pending electricity bills for poor households will be waived off as part of the new relief measures.
In his statement, Soren emphasized the government's commitment to supporting those who have sacrificed for the nation and aiding those in financial distress. He also addressed the upcoming elections, indicating that detailed political discussions and strategies will be disclosed in due course. The announcements reflect a focus on both honoring fallen soldiers and addressing local economic challenges as the state approaches the electoral period.
