Patna, Bihar: JDU National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha on Thursday firmly rejected the announcement of Tejashwi Yadav as the Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Ministerial candidate for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, asserting that Nitish Kumar will continue to lead the state from 2025 to 2030.

Speaking to the media, Jha criticised the Congress and RJD alliance, calling it a union of dynastic politics. “There is no vacancy for the Chief Minister’s post. Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister from 2025 to 2030. A dynastic party, Congress, has declared a person from another dynastic party as the Chief Minister candidate. The people of Bihar understand everything,” he said.

He lauded Nitish Kumar’s governance record, noting that the JD(U) leader has refrained from involving his family in politics. “Everyone knows how their work was in Bihar and what Nitish Kumar has done. Nitish Kumar never brought his family into politics. The people of Bihar have completely rejected them (RJD),” Jha stated.

Expressing confidence in the NDA’s prospects, he predicted a decisive victory. “In the elections, NDA will win with an overwhelming majority,” he said, signalling a firm stance against the Mahagathbandhan’s leadership strategy and reinforcing JD(U)’s commitment to continuity under Nitish Kumar.
