Patna: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a two-day visit to Bihar, during which he is expected to meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, confirmed JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha. Speaking on Shah’s visit, Jha stated, “He will be meeting the Chief Minister during his visit.”
Meanwhile, addressing the fodder scam, Jha remarked that the misuse of public funds was well-documented, making recovery inevitable. “Public money was looted from the exchequer… It is entirely documented… It is natural that recovery will be made… A lot of people were involved,” he said.
Shah’s visit comes amid growing political activity in Bihar, with discussions expected to revolve around governance, development, and alliance politics in the state. The fodder scam, a multi-crore corruption case linked to fraudulent withdrawals from government treasuries, continues to remain a politically charged issue in Bihar’s political landscape.
