Patna, Bihar: Ahead of a scheduled discussion in Parliament on Operation Sindoor, JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha called the mission a significant milestone in India’s security strategy. Speaking to reporters, Jha said, “In the history of the country, whenever a terrorist attack has occurred, the act of entering 200 kilometres into another country to destroy their (attackers') base has only been done for the first time through Operation Sindoor.”
He added that the mission represents a shift in India’s approach. “This is new India. If anyone attacks the country, we will strike them, and this is the 'new normal' of this country,” Jha remarked. According to him, discussing the matter in Parliament would send a strong message, as “the country and the world already know about it.”
Jha also clarified that the operation is not yet fully concluded. “Operation Sindoor is not over yet, but it is currently on hold. India and the world know that these terrorist activities are state-sponsored,” he said, emphasizing that the mission demonstrated India’s resolve and strength.
