New Delhi: JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad has strongly criticized AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly insulting the people of Bihar. His remarks came in response to Kejriwal’s accusations that the BJP was manipulating the electoral rolls by registering “fake” voters from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in his constituency ahead of the upcoming Delhi elections.
“Why does Arvind Kejriwal keep on insulting the people of Bihar? Doesn’t he realize that people are going to answer him back in Delhi elections?” Ranjan Prasad said, expressing his disappointment over Kejriwal’s statement. The JD(U) leader also questioned Kejriwal’s intent, stating that his comments were an unwarranted attack on the people of Bihar, who have significantly contributed to the development and growth of the national capital.
Kejriwal had earlier claimed that the BJP was engaging in unethical practices by adding fake voters to the electoral list, with a specific focus on voters from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. His remarks have sparked a political row, with leaders from both states defending their people and questioning Kejriwal’s allegations.
