Patna: Janata Dal (United) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad on Tuesday expressed confidence that the ruling alliance in Bihar will emerge victorious in the upcoming assembly elections, asserting that the opposition’s defeat is inevitable.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Prasad said, “Their and their allies’ (Mahagathbandhan) defeat is certain. Tejashwi Yadav himself is losing the election from the Raghopur seat as well.” He added that after the counting of votes, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader “will systematically explain the excuses he has been looking for.”
Prasad credited the expected victory of the JDU-led alliance to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s developmental work and governance record. “The voters trusted us because they saw the work happening in Bihar,” he said.
