Patna: Janata Dal (United) leader Neeraj Kumar on Monday strongly criticized Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders for allegedly threatening a BJP MLA who had described migrant workers as infiltrators.

Speaking to reporters, Kumar said that such threats reflect political failure and a lack of constructive participation in democratic processes. “Such language is used by those who are incapable of being part of this politics and have failed,” he remarked.

The JDU leader further stressed that questions of nationality must be taken seriously, adding that those who are not Indian citizens should not claim the right to participate in the country’s political or social life. “Those who are not Indian nationals should not participate; only Indian nationals have the right to live in this country,” he stated.
