Patna, Bihar: The Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) on Monday released its second list of candidates for 65 assembly constituencies ahead of the 2025 Bihar elections, signaling an expansion of the party’s electoral strategy across the state.
While the announcement provides clarity on most seats, the party has kept suspense around the Raghopur constituency, widely expected to be the debut seat for JSP founder Prashant Kishor. Raghopur is seen as a high-stakes contest, as Kishor is likely to face off against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and current Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav.
Sources within the JSP indicated that the decision on Raghopur is being finalised to maximise electoral impact and media attention. Political analysts say this move keeps both supporters and opponents guessing, potentially creating a strategic advantage for Kishor’s entry into the electoral fray.
