Patna – Manoj Bharti, working president of Jan Suraaj Party, along with a 7-member delegation, met with Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan to discuss the ongoing protests by BPSC students. Bharti informed the Governor about the issues surrounding the student unrest, which stemmed from alleged irregularities in the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination process.
“Today, a 7-member delegation from Jan Suraaj Party met with the Governor and made him aware of all the matters related to the students' protest. He listened to everything carefully,” Bharti said.
During the meeting, Governor Khan’s first question was about the health of Prashant Kishor, who is on a hunger strike in solidarity with the protesting students. Bharti updated the Governor about Kishor's condition and his continued fast. Upon hearing this, Governor Khan appealed to Kishor to end his hunger strike for his health's sake.
Regarding the students' demands, which have included a call for transparency and fairness in the BPSC process, the Governor acknowledged the validity of their concerns. He assured the delegation that “necessary actions will be taken in this matter” to address the students' grievances.
