Delhi: Himachal Pradesh Assembly Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has slammed Arvind Kejriwal for his recent statements, claiming that Kejriwal is confused and out of touch with the ground realities. Thakur attributed the confusion to the diminishing grip of power that Kejriwal is facing ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.

“Arvind Kejriwal is in such a state of confusion right now, he does not know what he is saying. And such a situation arises when power is slipping out of hand,” Thakur stated while addressing the media.

Thakur also praised the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra,’ emphasizing the party's initiative to extend education benefits by including plans to provide coaching and support for competitive exams. “If KG to PG is mentioned in the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra', it is a very good step that has been taken by the BJP leadership,” he added.

In contrast to Kejriwal’s promises, Thakur highlighted the BJP’s commitment to providing 300 units of free electricity to Delhi residents, a step which he believes goes beyond the opposition’s claims.

“The BJP in its manifesto has mentioned 300 units, not 200 units of free electricity,” he pointed out.
