Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Chief and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday strongly criticised the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government, alleging that governance and law enforcement in the state had deteriorated under its rule.
Speaking on recent disturbing incidents, Jagan questioned the root causes of such crimes and the alleged involvement of TDP members. “It’s crucial to ask why such incidents are happening, why would an innocent person or child suffer like this, and why is a TDP leader involved?” he said, raising concerns about systemic failures.
Jagan further alleged that the state police machinery had become politically influenced, operating under partisan pressure instead of maintaining independence. “This points to deeper governance issues within the Telugu Desam Party, where even the police appear politically influenced rather than independent,” he added.
Highlighting what he described as the moral and administrative decay under the current regime, the YSRCP chief urged the public to demand accountability. “Governance has badly deteriorated, and society must question these injustices,”he said.
