Western Seaboard: Strengthening the strategic bilateral relationship between India and France, INS Mormugao, one of the Indian Navy’s frontline warships, joined hands with the Indian Air Force and the French Carrier Strike Group for a Maritime Partnership Exercise on the Western Seaboard.

The exercise featured a series of complex maritime operations, including Joint Air Operations, emphasizing the high degree of professionalism and interoperability between the two navies. The collaboration demonstrated the operational capabilities of the Indian and French forces and their commitment to maintaining security in the Indo-Pacific region.

INS Mormugao, an indigenously built stealth-guided missile destroyer, played a pivotal role in the drill, showcasing India’s naval prowess. Aircraft from the Indian Air Force added a robust aerial dimension, enabling seamless coordination with the French Carrier Strike Group.

“These professional interactions are a hallmark of the strategic bilateral relationship and symbolize the high degree of professionalism and interoperability between the two navies,” said a statement from the Indian Navy.
