In a decisive and proportionate military response, the Indian Armed Forces carried out targeted strikes on Pakistani air defence infrastructure, including a key system in Lahore. The action, described as calibrated and domain-specific, was revealed in an official press release issued by the Ministry of Defence.

“Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems at a number of locations in Pakistan. Indian response has been in the same domain with the same intensity as Pakistan,” the statement read. The Ministry further added that, based on reliable inputs, an air defence system stationed in Lahore had been effectively neutralized during the operation.
