In a sharp rebuttal to a provocative remark by a Pakistani minister claiming their missiles are aimed at India, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat issued a stern warning, asserting that any misadventure would be met with an appropriate and forceful response.
Speaking on the matter, Shekhawat said, “They will get answers automatically when the time will come. These Ghauri, Ghaznavi, Mehmood were always there. They returned after getting hurt here many times.” He referred to historical invaders often cited in Pakistani missile nomenclature, emphasizing that India has faced such threats before and emerged stronger.
“All of them have tried and failed. When we did the air strikes, they were there too,” he added, referencing the Balakot air strikes of 2019 carried out by the Indian Air Force in response to the Pulwama terror attack. He further stressed that India’s own missile arsenal, including Agni and BrahMos, stands ready to defend the nation if needed.
