New Delhi: In the wake of the high-level telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana clarified India’s firm position on Pakistan and cross-border terrorism, reiterating that India remains unfazed by global pressure and is committed to dismantling terrorist infrastructure.
“Our only pending issue with Pakistan is PoJK (Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir),” Khatana said in a statement to the media in Delhi. “Operation Sindoor was not a strike against Pakistan as a nation, but a calculated and precise mission to dismantle terror camps operating across the border. Our objective was clear: to destroy terror infrastructure.”
Responding to Pakistan's diplomatic outreach in the aftermath of the operation, Khatana underlined India’s composure and international responsibility. “Pakistan went running to the world after we struck at the roots of terror. But we are a responsible country, and we do not come under pressure from any country, not even the most powerful,” he said.
