New Delhi: The Board of Directors of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) passed a resolution during its 595th meeting to strongly condemn the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of several innocent tourists and locals. The IFFCO Board expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and extended support to the families of the victims.
In a show of solidarity, Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO, wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reaffirming IFFCO's commitment to standing by the government in its efforts to combat terrorism. “We condemn the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack and stand firmly with the victims and their families. Our thoughts and prayers are with the affected families during this tragic time,” Sanghani expressed in his letter.
The IFFCO Board emphasized that such acts of violence must be condemned in the strongest possible terms and reiterated the cooperative’s support for the government's ongoing measures to ensure security and peace across the nation. The decision to formally convey their support is a reflection of IFFCO’s commitment to national unity and the well-being of citizens.
