Hyderabad: Tension gripped the legal quarters of Hyderabad on Monday after the City Civil Court received a bomb threat in the early hours of the day. According to officials, an anonymous email claiming the presence of a bomb was received at 3:15 am. However, the alert was discovered by court authorities only at 11:00 am, after which police were immediately informed.

Mirchowk Police Station Inspector confirmed the sequence of events. “Hyderabad City Civil Court received a bomb threat mail today in the early morning hours at 3:15 am. The officials saw it at 11 am and informed us. The bomb squad and other officials are conducting a thorough search of the court premises. So far, nothing has been found. We will provide further details later,” the Inspector stated.
