Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced key developments ahead of the upcoming Jharkhand Legislative Assembly session, set to be held from December 9 to 12. Addressing the media, Soren revealed that Stephen Marandi has been appointed as the protem speaker of the assembly.
The Chief Minister outlined significant plans for the state, including the implementation of the Maiya Samman Yojana, a welfare initiative designed to provide financial assistance to underprivileged women, which will begin disbursing benefits from December.
In a critical statement, Soren addressed the unfortunate deaths of candidates during the physical test phase of the Jharkhand Police recruitment drive, promising a thorough investigation into the causes of these incidents. “The reasons for the deaths will be probed, and necessary steps will be taken to prevent such occurrences in the future,” he assured.
Soren’s government has emphasized transparency and welfare, with the assembly session expected to discuss pivotal issues, including state welfare schemes and policy measures. The announcement comes at a time when the administration is under scrutiny to deliver on its promises of progress and inclusivity in the state.
The Chief Minister’s proactive stance on the assembly’s agenda and welfare initiatives reinforces his commitment to addressing pressing concerns and ensuring accountable governance in Jharkhand.
