Ahead of Heat wave, IMD issued heavy rainfall alert

Rajasthan: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Jaipur has issued a warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in the regions of Jaipur, Kota, and Bharatpur over the next few days. According to Jaipur IMD Director Radheshyam Sharma, these areas have already been experiencing significant rainfall, with Jaipur airport recording 118 mm.

Due to heavy rainfall, Schools, colleges, universities closed

Sharma noted that the monsoon will remain active in eastern Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days, with continued heavy downpours expected. Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during this period of intense weather.
