HD Kumaraswamy Aims to Revive HMT Units

By A Staff Reporter : Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy expressed his commitment to reviving the six units of HMT, which deteriorated after liberalization policies, despite their significant contribution to India since the 1950s-60s. As the Union Minister in charge of heavy industries, he announced his plan to visit all affected units to initiate the revival process.

Kumaraswamy also briefly commented on Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's ongoing court case, stating that the matter is currently before the judiciary, and the court will decide on the outcome.
